Frye Harness
I have no idea why it took me so many years to buy these but I finally did. I love them and you will not want to mess with me while I'm wearing them. I actually saw a very good version of them at Target for about 1/4 of the price (and half the weight).
I've never been a big boot person but now all I want to wear are boots. If you have a J. Crew credit card, you are privy to sale information; unfortunately, I did not get these on sale:

My husband ACTUALLY read a Frye boot, wish blog post of mine from last Summer, took note... and surprised me at Christmas with my dream pair.

I love a good boot, as well as a good heel or toe. A good as we call them " cockroach killer" toe extra on the pointy side with a great pair of blues, white shirt & turquoise jewels.

I love my Frye's (Campus 14L in Banana). Have you tried Zappos? They're my favorite for shoes. I actually just bought my Ray-Ban wayfarers from them, too! Got them the next day, free.

I honestly believe my eyes misted over when I saw that pair of Frye harness's that I once wore so long ago, as did my boyfriend of the time. The most wonderful boots I've ever owned. Funny how a singular item like a pair of great boots can prompt a cavalcade of memories.

i got the target harness boots and wore the heck out of them this winter. also got some black frye's. they are my new fave!the best thing about winter is getting to wear cool boots..
