I'm a Retard.
Will someone please explain to me what happened last night on "Mad Men?" Why did Don say he was Dick and who was that woman? Is he a twin? What's going on? Someone, please 'splain to me.

Holy moly, could those pants be any tighter? Gold star to the wardrobe stylist.
Sorry, I can't help you with the plot line. They're still showing the first season down this way.
I haven't watched the episode yet, but Don's real name is Dick Whitman. He adopted another man's identity during the war.
Yeah. It's a little convoluted. And I have NO IDEA where they're going with this.
I can't tell you what happened, but I can tell you that the dress in the picture above is gorgeous! :)
Raina - I picked that photo just for you.
Erin - Huh? Okay. I must've missed a key episode somewhere.
Ashley - Thanks for stopping by.
They introduced this plot line last season. You may remember his brother returning and confronting him about his past but then committing suicide.. I think that was the last time an entire episode was dedicated to it. Most of the time it is just in brief flash backs. This show rocks my world!
I would think given some of what's on your blog you would be a little more PC than the title of this entry suggests.
Thank you, Anna. I must have completely missed that episode! I'll try to find it.
Marla, political correctness is out of control. Retard is a perfectly valid slang term and while disparaging, does not necessarily mean mentally disabled.
From dictionary.com:
4. Slang: Disparaging.
a. a mentally retarded person.
b. a person who is stupid, obtuse, or ineffective in some way: a hopeless social retard.
"B" would be the application here. Thanks for stopping by.
I was very confused as well because it was kept flashing back.
I think it told the story of Don (who is actually Dick because he stole Don's identity when they were both in war and Don died) meeting Don's widow and they became friends. She is the only one who knows his real life story.
